Taylor Watson is a queer nail artist based in Berkeley, California. She began her career as a nail artist in 2011 as a DIY hobbyist, offering pop-ups at parties, vintage stores, and bars in San Francisco. Once Taylor realized she could turn her side hustle into her career, she expanded her knowledge by traveling to Japan for additional education and stocking up on the best nail supplies in Tokyo. While she loves creating intricate designs for her clients in her private studio in Berkeley, she also loves to demystify the craft of nail art for the DIY artist experimenting at home. She is inspired by color theory, woven fabrics, 1980's design, and other artists. When not painting nails, Taylor can be found travelling to hot springs in her 1996 Econoline, talking too much about astrology, or snuggling with her senior cat, Wheezy.
