Make every day feel like a celebration by adding a little sparkle to your outfit after Creativebug instructor Twinkie Chan shows you how to make your own glittery resin jewelry. There's no need to feel intimidated by the idea of casting resin. Twinkie starts at the very beginning of the process, from choosing the right resin, to measuring and mixing it, to the best practices needed to achieve the perfect cure. You'll also learn how to add jewelry findings and drill your own holes into resin pieces. Though this is a great project for resin beginners, you can use the same skills for molds of all shapes, whether for jewelry, sculpture, or decor.

What you'll get:
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Approx. 1 oz of 2-part epoxy casting resin (Twinkie is using Unicone Art brand)
- 2-3 pinches of chunky glitter
- Silicone mold for pendants and earrings
- Plastic or silicone measuring cup with 1/2 oz. measurements - you'll only need 1 oz total of resin
- 2-3 small mixing cups (either paper you can bend or a plastic/silicone cup with a small spout)
- Small plastic mixing spatulas or popsicle sticks
- Toothpicks
- Tool to pop tiny air bubbles - a lighter, small kitchen torch, heat gun, or a straw
- Paper towels
- 91% rubbing alcohol or acetone in a small spray bottle
- Tray or piece of cardboard large enough to fit under your project
- Cardboard box or plastic container large enough to fit over your project
- Pin vise hand drill for resin and 1.5mm or 1.8mm drill bit
- Small cutting board or wood block
- Dish cloth or small piece of thick fabric
- Two small flat-nose or bent-nose pliers
- Three jump rings (6mm or 7mm)
- 18" necklace chain or whatever length you prefer
- Two fishhook earrings
- Nitrile gloves
- Protection for your work surface like a plastic sheet, piece of cardboard, or silicone mat
- Optional: 15 x 5mm necklace bail, E6000
- Optional for your safey: Safety glasses, Long-sleeved shirt, Respirator mask with N95 or equivalent rating
