Needle books are a great way to keep track of your needles and pins while traveling, at workshops, or around the house. Create a needle book out of fabric that you have on hand that will be perfect to keep or give as a gift to your favorite sewist. Perfect use for those extra pieces of fabric made during Jody's Hand-Stitched Sampler Books Daily Practice, or other stitching or surface design workshops. Customize this sweet needle book with mending stitches, patches, or surface to design to make it your own.
Here’s what you’ll need:

- One or two pieces of felt for the needle book pages: 4 x 6 inches each (if you don’t have felt then any fabric will do)
- One piece of fabric for optional pocket: 2.5 x 5 inches
- Thread - threads that will work: machine thread, pearl cotton, sashiko, embroidery
- Needles that fit your thread
- Pins

Jody is a wonderful teacher. Do also check out her daily practise class! I am inspired to tint my own cotton fabrics with the tannins/Iron and the tea/soy milk combinatios. Wonderful!!

Great explanations and views of progress. Detailed variation and suggestions of variations to make a needle book functional for each person. Funny statements - "I'm a bookbinder!" Or "I'm not a quilter!" helped show points of view for how things were put together.
