Designed by artist and Dropcloth Embroidery Samplers owner Rebecca Ringquist, this unique project utilizes two embroidery hoops to create that districtive wreath shape. You’ll explore various thread thicknesses and a range of stitches, including satin stitch, French knots, and seed stitch, to add rich texture and depth to your design. Perfect for hanging as a timeless decoration or repurposing as a creative frame for photos or artwork, this class is ideal for both seasoned embroiderers and beginners.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Sampler can be downloaded as a PDF or purchased from Dropcloth Embroidery
- For transfering PDF: Printer and Stitch Stabilzer
- Variety of embroidery floss, perle cotton, tapestry wool, or yarn
- Embroidery needles - Rebecca uses milliner and tapestry needles
- 10" square of backing fabric: cotton / linen, or other woven / non-stretchy fabric, or ShapeFlex
- Two embroidery hoops, 8" and 5" or similar
- Rubber fingers or thimbles
- Scissors
- Quilting clips or bulldog clips
- Mark-B-Gone pen or fabric pencil
- Pin Cushion or Needlebook - check out Rebecca's Pin Cushion and Needle Case class
- Beeswax or needle threader for threading needles
- Hoop prop by Modern Hoopla (optional)

Lovely teacher with a wonderful personality. I learned many wonderful tips. Especially useful to know how to finish off the back for hanging, & using two hoops to add depth and definition.
