This class covers the basics of cutting on a Cricut machine, swapping out blades, customizing projects, adhering materials with the Cricut Easy Press, plus instructions on assembling each project. While Amber uses a Cricut Maker in the demonstrations for this class, most of the projects can be done on a Cricut Explore and provide ample inspiration for year ‘round crafting.

Sewist-with-a-sweet-tooth Liana Allday shows how two pieces of cotton fabric plus handy cotton webbing straps quickly come together to make a classy bag to tote your torte. Whether the pie carrier is for transporting your own desserts or as a gift to your favorite baker,  this project comes together in less than an hour – just enough time to whip up something delicious.

Artist, author, and avid art journaler Mou Saha shares her love of art journaling through the technique of cut paper. Learn what inspires Mou’s collaged art journal pages, including how she uses color to create emotions, and how she simplifies images to create graphic layouts. Mou shares innovative ways of working with new and familiar materials in order to express yourself vibrantly, and explains how the mundane can become a memory worth saving.

This coat can be made in two lengths and in a variety of fabric weights for all seasons. Deborah will be with you every step of the way, sharing expert insight from her 35 years of experience at Simplicity Pattern Company. 

Make a foxy, felty stocking that will adorn your mantle for many Christmases to come. Alison of Kata Golda walks you through cutting and assembling the stocking and adding cute, mischievous features including perky ears and a bushy tail. Finish with a personalized star and you’ll be ready to hang your stocking with care. 

With simple carving tools and your design sensibilities, you can carve a custom set of stamps to add personality and zip to stationery, textiles and more. Christine shows you how to transfer a design and which tools to use, to celebrate the charm and imperfections of printing by hand.

Jumpstart your artistic practice with six weeks of creativity exercises taught by Lisa Congdon. Using a variety of Lisa's favorite art supplies and tried-and-true processes, learn how to use Microns, oil sticks, paints and collage to take a fresh look at shape, line and color. Not only are they the perfect topper for your mug of cocoa, but they also toast up perfectly over open flame. In this class, Karen will show you how to use a candy thermometer to ensure perfect texture and prepare the pan so you don’t wind up with a goopy mess. At the end, Karen will show you how to roll the marshmallows in powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and toasted coconut, which make for perfect gourmet gifts.

This striped toddler sweater is a seamless quick knit, perfect any little boy or girl in the cold winter months. Use any colors you choose to make either a striped or solid version with a contrasting hem and cuff. Worked up in worsted weight yarn, the knitting will fly by quickly — and best of all, there are no seams to sew up at the end. This sweater pattern is sized to fit 6-month-olds up to 3 or 4 year-olds.

These cozy boot toppers are a perfect first foray into intarsia knitting. Cirilia Rose shows you how to knit a flat swatch in the round using four colors and basic geometric shapes. She then shows how to join in the round using the “magic loop” technique and add finishing touches. Once your yarn tails are woven in, your boot toppers are ready for their debut!

In this class, Kaffe and Liza work together to create a masterful medallion quilt in rich, warm tones. The quilt begins with a stunning medallion center that is comprised of English paper-pieced hexagon rings and hand-appliqued fussy-cut fabrics. From there, the quilt expands with several colorful borders—some patchworked, some solid—which come together to create a lush, harmonious effect. Throughout the making of this low-contrast quilt, Kaffe explains his process for selecting fabrics, demonstrating various options on a design wall. At the end of the class, enjoy bonus footage of Kaffe and Liza sharing stories about how they met and the creative journey they are on together.

It's super easy to whip up a custom monogrammed cosmetic bag with your Cricut Maker. Amber from Damask Love shows you how to design your own monogram and cut it out in vinyl on your Cricut Maker, plus you'll learn how you can use the Maker to cut out all of your fabric pattern pieces. Once the elements are cut out, Amber shows you how to install the zipper, box the corners, and assemble the bag. The glittery vinyl monogram goes on last as a special finishing touch.
