Cabled Christmas Stocking
Marly Bird
Get into the holiday spirit with this classic knitted Christmas stocking. Knitwear designer Marly Bird shows you how to construct this oversized stocking, which features a gorgeous centered cable flanked by seed stitch. The stocking is created in two pieces, and then the edges are crocheted together to create a tube. Add decorative tassels and pompoms for an extra dose of holiday cheer.
Mini Holiday Hat Garland
Maggie Pace
These miniature hat ornaments are a perfect project for new knitters looking for a quick and easy holiday craft. The scale is perfect for learning colorwork, including striping. And she finishes by offering a range of darling embellishments that will add cheer to any holiday décor.
Knitted Polar Bear
Megan Kreiner
Learn how to knit this very hungry polar bear and his little fish friend with cute critter expert, Megan Kreiner. The bear and fish are made with chunky yarn, so the knitting is fast and easy. Megan shows you how to make every little bit of this 8-inch bear—from tousled head to whip-stitched toe—and also demonstrates how to stuff and assemble. Best of all, you'll learn how to add a safely secured magnet to both critters so the bear can carry the fish wherever he goes.
Holiday Mitten Garland
Maggie Pace
Instead of a store-bought holiday garland, whip up a set of these hand-knitted mini mittens. Cute as can be, these mitts are great for learning intermediate knitting techniques, including thumb shaping, decreases, and ribbed cuffs. Make several to string together, or use single mittens instead of bows on your holiday presents.
Cabled Afghan Workalong
Edie Eckman
Over the course of 12 parts, knitting pro Edie Eckman takes you on a whirlwind adventure exploring the wide world of cables. In each class, you will learn new stitch patterns with a variety of twists and turns, and at the very end, you’ll put all of the blocks together to make a gloriously textured, cozy afghan. Edie presents this afghan in one neutral shade, but you can use whatever colors float your boat for your own unique design.
Prima Shrug
Maggie Pace
This lovely shrug is knit all in one piece so there is no seaming. The back is knit from side to side to take advantage of the distinctive color gradation of the yarn. Its unique construction means that you can size as you go, ensuring a perfect fit and a ballet-inspired shrug that you can customize to fit your own body and style.
Knitted Fox
Megan Kreiner

Keep your mug toasty warm this winter with a sweet knitted mug cozy. Liana Allday shows you how to knit this tri-colored cozy in linen stitch. The resulting cozy makes for a great holiday gift, especially when paired with a special mug.
Mosaic Knitting: How to Make Placemats
Edie Eckman
Mosaic knitting is a slip-stitch pattern that allows you to work interesting and complex-looking geometric designs using only one color per row. While it can seem tricky to understand, once you get the basics, you can do any mosaic pattern under the sun. Edie Eckman will teach how to read mosaic-knitting charts, demonstrating four different stitch patterns on swatches. After you take this class, you'll be ready to make placemats (PDF pattern included) or any other mosaic project you choose.
Knit a Reflective Hat
Maggie Pace
If you love working with vibrant colors, then this quick-to-knit hat pattern is perfect for you. The design not only features neon pink and yellow stripes, but the yarn used for the stripes is reflective, so when you wear it out at night, the hat will reflect light from cars, street lamps, and flash photography. A great option for nighttime walks or bicycle rides! Maggie shares excellent tips for working jogless joins in the round, so the stripes will line up seamlessly. The beanie is finished off with a giant pink fluffy pompom—after all, this hat is not about subtlety.

Great presentation with good repetition of steps. Dialog was limited to the necessary instructions.. which was welcoming.. as many tutorials are FILLED with lengthy incidental commentary that just takes up time.
