I've had so much trouble with the cricut part of this project. I haven't even gotten to the rest. The blade keeps getting stuck. The first time, I followed the directions to clear debris and continue. I think it was a little off when it started cutting again and snapped the blade of the knife on the 4th round. After that, if the blade got stuck, I cancelled and started with a fresh piece of basswood. On the 5th piece I tried to cut, at 50% it started to cut the mat. I'm a beginner, so this may be too difficult for me. I'm going to try with a different material as I was hoping to do this with several children and don't want to disappoint. Wish me luck.
