I consider myself a feral sewist...(patterns are not my forte) and this will be the perfect project for me! 

I'm more confident about the sewing part because of her detailed instruction, but a little nervous about making the pattern. Cal explained it very well, but I think I might cut it a little larger than suggested. That way if I haven't measured appropriately, I can adjust to make it smaller if needed. 

Great place to start learning how to draft your own patterns. The instructions were clear and informative and Cal is such a delightful teacher!!

Lots of creative possibilities once you get the sewing piecing and stitching down. I liked seeing the variations she did with this same "pattern".
