Make gratitude a part of your daily art practice with artist and Faber Castell creative Mou Saha. Each day this month she’ll share a prompt and technique focusing on the moments, people, and themes of her life for which she is the most thankful. You’ll use ink and paint to make drawings, paintings, and hand-lettering to complete your spreads. Learning to take a moment out of your every day to visually express gratitude takes a bit of practice but after a full month will become second nature, and you’ll be amazed by how your perception shifts.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- 140 lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper trimmed to 9"x6" or journal with watercolor or mixed media paper
- Assorted acrylic paints
- Assorted brushes including #4 round brush
- Palette and surface for mixing paints
- Spatula or palette knife
- Permanent black pens - Mou uses Faber-Castell PITT pens in B and XS tips
- Permanent brush markers - Mou prefers Faber-Castell Stamper Big Brush pen in Black
- White gel pen
- Straight edge
- Pencil, eraser and sharpener
- Water cup with water
- Heat tool or hair dryer (optional)

I loved the mixture of so much wisdom (told in such a gentle voice), painting advice, wonderful prompts and great step-by-step videos. I would watch any class taught by Mou Saha - she is an amazing teacher!
