I found that this didnt really help me understand how to walk around a fabric store. Like it almost seems like it would be better in the opposite, talking about the weaves of fabric then saying what it could be made of instead of just talking about cotton by itself. Also most things are blends lately anyway...

I suppose I was vaguely aware there was a wide variety of fabrics and fibers but this opened my eyes to a whole new world. After a lifetime of struggling to find clothing that fits my body, i'm excited to start looking at making my own and being more knowledgeable about the fabrics I will be using.
