over 22 years ago I bought Melanie's book and made this with my three young children. I keep the needles we made to this day in a vase made from a bottle decorated with tissue paper decoupage by my little boy. It is a treasure to me. i cut off the back beaded ends of Clover knitting needles to make our needles.
