From watercolor to cardboard to even a slice of bread, we’ll help you discover the art and magic that you can create with what you already have.

Here’s what you’ll need:

This Daily Practice is all about using what you have on hand. Feel free to riff on the day's theme, substitute materials and explore. You'll need basic craft supplies such as:

paper, tissue paper and cardboard
sketchbooks or watercolor paper
pens, markers, ink stamp and paint
ribbon, yarn and a crochet hook
fabric thread and a sewing needle
washi tape, glue, hot glue and Mod Podge
envelopes
matchboxes
toilet paper tubes
tin foil
a baby sock!
