Have you ever dreamed of having a unicorn pal? Now you can create your very own magical pet. Crochet designer Twinkie Chan shows you how to make your unicorn with simple crochet stitches, then how to assemble it by stuffing and whipstitching the pieces together. Finally, you will use a simple latch-hook method to add a colorful mane and tail.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice 3.5oz/100g (each approx. 170yds/156m) 100% Acrylic in #100 White (approx. 60 yards needed) and #158 Mustard (approx. 6 yards needed)
- Lion Brand Vanna’s Glamour 1.75oz/50g (each approx. 202yds/185m) 96% Acrylic, 4% Metallic Polyester in #171 Gold (approx. 2 yards needed)
- Approx. 2 yards each of worsted weight yarn in rainbow colors (Twinkie used Red Heart Super Saver in Perfect Pink, Pumpkin, Bright Yellow, Spring Green, and Turquoise)
- Two 6mm black safety eyes
- G6/4.00mm and H8/5.00mm crochet hooks
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Straight pins
- Stitch marker (Twinkie uses an 8” scrap of contrasting yarn)
- Polyester stuffing
- Small wooden stick, wooden chopstick, or unsharpened pencil to help with stuffing (sometimes one is included in a bag of stuffing)
