so much time carving out those stamps. after the first few, she could've just skipped that part or speeded it up. then she could've shown a lot more patterns I just skipped to the last 10 seconds of each section and I got it..

A good approach for a beginner stamper. A good way to build up a collection of stamps and even using some erasers to carve into. I love her playful approach and how she also showed us how to use an artist as inspiration for carving our own shapes.

I think Lisa did an excellent job showing viewers the different stamp materials and carving methods. I would have loved to have seen a class like this when I was still new to carving. At first, I thought it was an awful idea to even show carving on Speedy Cut because the material is so crumbly and awful to work with, but it occurred to me that it's a good thing to show newer carvers the different materials and what the outcome is. I do think there should have been a little more focus on discussing the different carving materials and listing out all of the pros and cons, but she did touch on it which was probably enough for newer carvers. I would definitely recommend this class to someone new to carving.
