How to Substitute Yarn
Debbie Stoller
You don’t always have to use the yarn suggested in patterns — but if you do stray from the recommended yarn, you’ll want to keep a few guidelines in mind. Debbie Stoller shares sage advice for substituting yarn, such as using a yarn in a similar gauge and weight and sticking to the same fiber family. Also important, you’ll learn how to calculate yardage requirements for your new yarn so you won’t run out in the middle of the project (or buy far more than you actually need).
Cricut Crafts: DIY Fall Leaves Wreath
Lia Griffith
Make a festive wreath with shimmery paper leaves, perfect for fall decorating. Lia Griffith shows you how to score and cut a variety of leaf shapes, then add dimension by folding leaves for a more realistic look. Attach leaves to a withered and rustic grapevine wreath for a statement piece you can hang on the door or on a wall.
How to Make a Blank Art Journal
Dawn DeVries Sokol

These simple journals are easy to create and are perfect for on-the-go journaling to capture all your creative endeavors.
How to Knit Twisted Rib Socks
Edie Eckman
Learn how to make beautifully textured socks featuring a twisted rib stitch. This was super informative! I got the calculations right for yarn substitutes I intended to use for a pattern I'm knitting, but I had no idea even picking the right fiber material and ensuring the stitch gauge for the yarn closely matched the yarn for the original pattern would be important details to consider! I feel like I ended up with an understanding for ways I can use up the yarn in my stash and how to find the right patterns for these yarn after this class!
