I wish there had been some talk about color theory - not a lot, but we jump from "here's how to blend" to "and now I'm mixing cad yellow and pthalo violet and burnt sienna and brown ochre" at the same time we're trying to follow along with the brush techniques. The lengthy beginning talk about materials is fantastic, but it really felt like the last section was, "And now draw the rest of the owl." I do agree that I'll go back and watch the last section multiple times to get more out of it. Not a bad class, just room for improvement.
